Little Acorns Montessori School
Ascot and Bracknell
Two Schools, one ethos:
Structured learning in a fun and caring environment
Baby and Toddler Room
Due to popular demand and designed to support those who work in education,
this is a term time only facility.
Of course, this doesn't exclude anyone else from bringing their child to us but please note that our hours of opening are specifically term time 08.00 - 17.00
Based at our Bracknell campus, this is a room separated from the rest of the school, specifically for our babies and toddlers.
The earliest we can take babies is 3 months

The children learn in a stimulating environment. They have the choice of playing in our construction area, book area, home corner or soft play. We also have daily, adult led activities.
Our carers are always encouraging good communication using high quality interaction and visual aids
The Little Acorns playroom has been carefully designed to incorporate different areas of play in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Each area gives children the opportunity to explore a wide variety of activities and learning experiences utilising child led free play.
A home corner is the most familiar experience the children can have. It relates directly to their own lives and is something all children have in common regardless of their backgrounds
These areas are specifically for our babies.
They have their own space offering a range of appropriate resources for them to rest and play. We have equipment to encourage rolling, sitting, bouncing and tummy time.
We have a separate sleeping room where they can sleep and rest in comfort.
Our garden is solely for use by our Little Acorns Room. We have a lovely new soft surface and lots of equipment to encourage physical play including a slide, ride ons, and balancing.
Children also have an area for digging, playing in sand, a mud kitchen and water play with opportunities for making marks and making sounds using spoons and pans.
